I'm a full time teacher and mother of two. I have a daughter in college and a son in high school. I love working on my house and I'm always looking for ideas and planning my next project. I feel a great deal of satisfaction in doing things myself. Although, I am well aware of my limits and I am more than willing to bring in a professional when needed (i.e. running a gas line to my stove, painting a two-story foyer).
My style is shabby, country, transitional, vintage. My brother thinks my house looks like a Cracker Barrel. :)
